Riding upon the success of our first collaboration with the postgraduates from the MA Art Therapy Programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, KDF and LASALLE got together again this year, for the KDF calendar project 2019.

This time, the theme was “Emotions during the dialysis journey”, and our patients were told to depict the emotions felt during their dialysis journey through their paintings. Through individual artworks, you will get a rare glimpse into the inner thoughts of a dialysis patient, be it the feelings when they were first diagnosed, how they feel going through dialysis three times a week, or how it is like having been on dialysis for many years.Each artwork is unique, and conveys a different emotion, using colours and various techniques to portray the right mood and feelings to achieve their desired look.
