On 12th January 2014, Renal Friends – KDF's patient support group – organised a day tour to Johor Bahru, Malaysia for patients and their caregivers. The tour began with a trip to a mushroom farm, where KDF patients were able to learn about the nutritional value of mushrooms. After that, the group proceeded to a Foo Chow noodle making factory where they were shown the process of making noodles from scratch. After a sumptuous lunch, participants visited a bee farm and local produce store where they sampled local snacks. This was followed by dinner at a local restaurant before making their way back to Singapore.
