KDF Charity Icon 2016: Double Fortune

Posted in Fundraising.

To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Kidney Dialysis Foundation, we are pleased to launch an exquisitely crafted charity icon for 2016 – aptly named “Double Fortune”.

This circular art piece seeks inspiration from the unique Chinese art form of Liuli, where hues of amber and emerald meet in the fluid translucency of the outer circle, and a pair of goldfish swim among lotus leaves. Resting within the circle is a pair of tangerines, a symbol of good fortune.

While circular objects have long been favoured in fengshui as they are associated with wealth and riches, the subtle colours and crystal-like clearness further accentuates the purity and spirit of this icon, which is sure to bring good luck and great fortune to those who owns it.

Extend hope to needy kidney patients who require dialysis by supporting “Double Fortune” today. The minimum donation amount for ‘Double Fortune’ is $888. All donations are 2.5 times tax deductible. Donate here.

For more information about the KDF 2016 Charity Icon, please contact Ms Shelley Lu at 6559 2653 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
